PRIM also offers award-winning bridal hair and makeup services for brides and bridal parties in North Florida and beyond. PRIM SALON
We offer free Wi-Fi and a minibar stocked with complimentary coffee, espresso, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. After your appointment, your stylist will recommend the perfect lineup of professional, top-rated products, tailored specifically to your hair and beauty needs, so that you can retain the longevity of your investment. All products are available for purchase inside the salon. We also offer delivery options! PRIM Salon was founded by owner and Ponte Vedra Beach native Brittany Karol. Brittany has been a professional in the industry for over eight years, although she’s been doing hair and make-up since as far back as high school, where she was the designated stylist among her friends.
Brittany’s passion for hair and makeup, genuine care for her work, and penchant for making each client look and feel amazing have inspired her to create a wonderfully successful career and salon. Brittany completed her apprenticeship at Volume Once Salon in Pensacola, FL, under Hurst Butts. She had the amazing opportunity to train regularly under Maxine Lyvers, who is an educator for Davines, the eco-friendly, Italian-made product line featured here at Prim Salon.
Brittany has been featured many times for her talents, including in Southern Bride magazine in 2020, the centerfold of The Knot magazine in 2019, and getting the cover of Void Magazine’s swimsuit edition in 2019. Also winning Best in Jax for bridal hair extensions in 2020 and 2022! When not bringing hair goals to life and make-up dreams true, you will catch Brittany traveling, shopping, and spoiling her adorable Frenchie, Brody. PS: Pups are welcome in the salon!

ABOUT ME
Brittany, also nicknamed B, started her hair journey when she graduated from Paul Mitchell Beauty Institute Jax in 2021. She has had the honor of joining the PRIM salon team, and she’s loving it. She is a Florida girl; she was raised in Panama City and moved to Jacksonville when she was 15.
Being in the beauty industry was always a huge passion of hers because she had always wanted to be able to empower women and help them feel their most beautiful selves! She believes that with every client comes a new opportunity to build a new connection, but beyond that, she has such a love for what she does. From color to blonding to extensions, she helps her clients find their preferred way to style themselves and teaches them how to recreate salon looks at home. She is a sucker for a good transformation!
She believes that when you look good, you feel good, and her goal is to help each client achieve that.
Aside from making people feel beautiful, she enjoys spending time with her son, hiking, and going to the park. Taking her dog to the beach for walks, spending time with friends, and reading!

Meet Lindsay! Trained by an Advanced Cosmetic Tattoo Artist in Orlando, Lindsay is a Certified Eyebrow Artist who specializes in Microblading and Eyebrow Laminations. Lindsay is passionate about her art and views each eyebrow treatment as a live masterpiece. As a perfectionist by nature, she has a keen eye for design and passion for enhancing natural beauty using subtle definition, custom cosmetic artistry, permanent makeup techniques and color theory. Properly shaped eyebrows will frame your face, create a more youthful appearance and take a ton of time off of your daily makeup routine! Lindsay has helped many happy clients achieve their desired results and truly understands the power of an eyebrow. She takes her utmost time with each client to ensure the outline of your new shape is symmetrical and tailored to your unique bone structure, prior to beginning any treatment. Whether you are looking to create more volume, add definition, change or improve your shape, Lindsay will personalize your brows to fit your style.
Prior to her work as a Brow Artist, Lindsay has worked within salons for fourteen years as a Marketing Manager. This opened the door to her love for all things beauty and aesthetics. When Lindsay isn’t perfecting your brows, this mama is spending time with her family, hitting the gym, or soaking up the sun!

Katie has had a love and great passion for hair since a very young age. After graduating from the Aveda Institute in 2012, she has been steadfast in her career, and in perfecting her craft. Katie earnestly surpassed each milestone as a new stylist, which lead her to quickly become deemed a Master Stylist. As a Master Stylist, Katie specializes in blondes, brunettes, lived in color, balayage and dimensional color. It is vital to her to stay educated on today’s trends in order to give each guest their desired look, as well as providing an individual effortless style they can recreate at home. Katie views her works as a true form of art and finds pure joy in helping others feel and look their best!
Outside of the salon you can find this mama of two little girls doing all things outdoors. She and her family love spending time at the beach or pool with friends, and traveling any chance she gets!

Katie fell in love with helping people feel more confident in their beauty goals and connecting with everyone that sits in her chair. Outside of the salon you can find Katie at the gym lifting weights, eating at all the best restaurants jax has to offer and organizing puppy play dates for her mini golden doodle, Ollie.

Shelby loves doing anything that has to do with beauty and is her happiest when making others feel beautiful! Shelby specializes in lived in blondes & brunettes, blonding, and coloring. She also specializes in bridal hair and makeup. Outside of the salon, you can find Shelby working her two other jobs or spending time with family while sipping a glass of wine. Unless it’s a nice sunny day, she will be at the beach all day. Shelby would love to meet you and welcomes you to her chair here at Prim Salon!
